One-Step Subscription Form

The one-step subscription form and scripting has been developed to implement single opt-in subscription management. We recommend it because experience shows a small percentage of would-be subscribers have trouble completing the double opt-in with Email confirmation.

We recommend the One-Step form for the WebValence-hosted web site. Because of security restrictions in the technology, it does not work on sites hosted by others.

Example Subscription Form

The one-step subscription form is normally implemented on an invisible layer, which appears when the visitor selects a link. The invisible form does not detract from the web page design.

The invisible form is not a pop-up window, and it won't be inhibited by a "Disable Pop-ups" setting in the visitor's browser. If you prefer a visible form, then you can opt for that.

Installation

Install the One-Step form in four steps:

Copy the Form HTML to the Body of your web page
Copy the CSS file to your website host folder
Copy two links to the Head section of your web page
Tweak the CSS file for appearance and test
