Troubleshooting
Connecting to the Filemaker Host
If you are unable to connect to the filemaker host, make sure that your firewall allows traffic
on port 5003.
If you are using Filemaker Pro 9, be aware that Filemaker had an issue with SSH communications
in some distributions. To correct this, you may need to apply a patch to your Filemaker
installation. See Filemaker
support for
more on this topic.
Connecting to your Filemaker Database
If you are unable to authenticate (login to your database), then something is wrong with
your username and password. Keep in mind that these will normally be unique from other
WebValence credentials for increased security. Check with support to verify your username
and password.
