Web Sites and Ezine Design and Hosting

Before you setup your Email program, consider recommendations below to inform your choice of the type of service you want to use. The server will cooperate with the settings that you apply to your Email program.
IMAP is a newer protocol recommended for people who work with more than one computer and/or portable device. IMAP helps all your devices cooperate and avoid duplication of effort.
Exchange is a proprietary protocol for workgroups developed by Microsoft. WebValence does not support Exchange.
Changing Email program settings from POP3 to IMAP may result in loss of mail from your Email program. To avoid loss of mail, Copy messages in your InBox, OutBox, Drafts, and Sent Mail to backup mail folders before removing your POP3 account.
We recommend that you do NOT test by sending messages to yourself, unless you are exchanging Emails with an account at some other Email service.
Be sure to test both sending and receiving Emails.
