Building Your First Shopping Kiosk

In our system your "shopping cart" is called a "kiosk". Here's the process for developing a kiosk in our system:
  1. Request your e-commerce hosting account

When you request an e-commerce hosting account, we'll setup an e-commerce back office for you. We will ready your E-commerce kiosk to communicate with the payment collection method of your choice.
  2. Plan your first Kiosk

Select a small group of products or services to present on your first Kiosk. Collect descriptive information, product pricing, shipping costs, illustrative images, and so forth.
  3. Enter Item Information

Assign a unique identifier to each of the products or services you are selling. Enter them into the E-commerce back office for this Kiosk. Enter special pricing, regular pricing, and shipping prices as applicable for your items. Upload an image for the product or service to your web site and enter the URL for that image in the Kiosk. We usually does this to help you get started more easily.
  4. Apply a Web Site Template to the Kiosk

Apply your web site template to the Kiosk, so that it matches the rest of your web site. Upgrade the template as necessary to control the appearance of the Kiosk. WebValence usually does this to help you get started more easily.
  5. Test the Kiosk
